Since 2010, Opt Eyewear Boutique has been Providence's home for curated designer eyewear from the world's most innovative independent optical companies.
We started because we believed that eyewear shopping should feel like discovering something extraordinary — not like navigating a corporate chain where the frames all look the same and the advice is scripted.
The eyewear collections we carry are made by independent, family-owned companies, just like us. By now you've probably heard about that “big Italian company” that makes over 80% of the eyewear, owns most optical shops, as well as insurance companies. Well, we're the exact opposite of that.
